Church in the village of Chernevo, currently Krasnogorsk, Moscow region
 Evdokim Petrov
This church was built in 1873, funded by businessman Polykov, who was the owner of several textile manufactures in the vicinity. Church was used as non-religious building in 1970 through 1990th and then restored in late 1990th. It is typical example of neo Russin style, where red brick building were imitating the Russian churches of 17th century. Please enjoy the photograph of the church. It is very easy to see visit the church travelling from Moscow downtown. You take Tverskaya, then Leningradskoye shosse and then be sure to take Volokolamskoye shosse. When you reach Krasnogorsk, keep going and Chernevo is in fact sleeping district of Krasnogorsk fro the western side
Church is surrounded by multilevel condo buildings, but it is keeping its original beauty as you could expect the Russian church of second half of 19th century
