Pavshino Church: Russian Orthodox churches series

In fact, Pavshino has two churches on the same square - one is acting and the photo of which you can enjoy here and the second one is close since 1960th and no photo provided. Pavshino is the front of the city of Krasnogorsk if you drive there from Moscow downtown via Volokolamskoye shosse.
The name of the village of Pavshino, meaning in Russian the surrendered place is associated with lzhe-Dmitry, or the self proclaimed tsarevich Dimitry - this is the story of 16th century, associated with the ruling of Boris Godunov. There was famous counterfacing of Lzhe Dmitry who was staying in Toushino field, where now Tushono airfield is located with Pavshino located Czar forces
Pavshino church is very important to the author of these lines as he was introduced here to Christian Orthodox church here back in 1969 by his grand mother
