Volga and Mississippi - two major rivers of two superpower nations
 Andrew Karasev
Reka Volga is very sacred term to all the Russians and Mississippi as it Indian name states is in turn extremely important for all the Americans. With this small article we would like to share with you photo pictures of Volga River in Tver Oblast of Russia and at the same time encourage you to publish article with Mississippi spring pictures on our site, please enjoy the photos:
 1. Volgoverkhovie. This is very ancient village, where now we have the chapel over the Volga river source and St. Olga monastery, built in 1912 (the brick dome, as wooden winter church was built in earlier 20th century - before the dome was founded)
2. How to get there. If you are travelling to Russia, this is probably very feasible question to you. Well, you can rent the car in Moscow, drive Moscow Riga highway toward Volokolamsk and Rzhev, then turn North to Selizharovo-Ostashkov and from Ostashkov city you follow the directions to the Volga upper waters (or in Russian Volgoverkhovie). Alternative route will bring you to Tver, then to Torzhok, Kuvshinovo, Mogilevka, and Ostashkiv
3. Winter or Summer. In Russia we recommend you to travel in Summer, as in Winter you will have to fight Russian snow and ice on the roads, plus of course roads have no lanterns and you will have to move on your own risk and intuition
