When you need add-ons or unique custom programming in SB1 SDK to accommodate standard SAP BO processes and logic to your specific requirements, you should do your homework in selecting SDK modification and software development partner. It is also recommended that you involve ISV consultants into SB1 ERP sales cycle where they could contribute, but this is up to you
1. Business Processes Mapping. When you select your next MRP, you expect your partner to guide you through newly proposed ERP and how it will fit to you unique requirements
2. Most Typical SB1 customization scenarios. Here we see Sales Orders and AR Invoices, coming from your EDI partners or legacy CRM or Sales Order Processing application. Please note that integrations without SB1 GUI modifications are preferred
3. Specific Industry Expertise. It is obviously the best case, when your SB1 SDK programmer has your unique industry expertise, however it may lead you to the utopia, as programmers are in most of the cases of entry and lower management level in ISV organizations. You realistically should look for the combination, where ISV as the company has project manager, who is familiar and comfortable with your industry and where programmers are comfortable to execute the project according the specs
