Online job ads increased last March

From ANZ Job Advertisements Series recently announced statement that almost 1.8% has been increased from the online classifieds job ads. This growth has been in a positive outlook in spite of print advertising like newspaper ads falling 1% from the previous month. Complete figures has been publicized showing the growth follows an increase of 19.1% in February, with online job ads continuing to rise up with an overall growth of 2% in March.
Since July 2008 this has been the first annual increase with the online classified ads, almost 8% year-on-year reported. However with the print advertisement like in newspaper ads which the total percentage more or less 162,700 per week during March, reported that has been raised up with more than 20% year-on-year, in the company of online ads seeing a 7.3% lift compared to March 2009. This print media advertisement has said to be refused in South Australia and New South Wales.
Warren Hogan, chief economist at ANZ said that this positive result is quite the record breaker and should be followed up with the 19.1% jump in the ANZ Job Advertisements series in February. If this continuous growing are confirms the fast development and progress will take place this year in Australia.
"Total employment in the Australian economy reached a record 11 million in February 2010 (an increase of 1.7% year-on-year), with around 70% of jobs full-time." Hogan added.
